As an editor at Cartoon Network, I concepted, wrote, and edited videos to promote the shows on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. The formats of the videos ranged from straight clip pulls, compilation videos, live action videos, animated music videos, and show mash-ups.

This massive compilation video followed the main characters of Steven Universe through their development over the course of five seasons and a movie. I had to know the show and its characters intimately in order to pinpoint specific moments for each of them as well as moments that reflect the development of their relationships to one another. I edited them all together to create this video, which has since accrued 3.4M views.

To promote Adventure Time: Distant Lands, I created this compilation of scenes from the original Adventure Time series that portrayed Marceline’s relationship with her mother, a plotline that was resolved in the “Obsidian” episode. Since there are 11 seasons, I had to research episodes where they interacted, pull the relevant scenes, and edit them all together to create a narrative that flowed.

Victor and Valentino pulls inspiration from a number of Latin-American cultures, and I created this compilation video as a way to explain some of the cultural references with which audiences might not be as familiar. I had to be very familiar with the series so I could identify what needed a more in-depth explanation, then I edited the video together with the explanations in a way that made sense.

Gilligan Moss created a “mixtape” for BMO’s episode of Adventure Time: Distant Lands, and I was tasked with creating an engaging way of sharing the music. I came up with this concept and created this video by looping a clip of BMO kicking his feet and replacing his interface with an audio visualizer and scrolling song titles using Adobe After Effects.
